In 2006 he decided on a complete change from corporate life and founded Virtrium, a truly independent consultancy, with his two partners, Ed and John. They shared a common vision – simply to help IT and Business leaders get more value from their IT. His favourite job has to be helping an IT leadership team develop their strategy, define the future, and make it happen. Since its formation, Virtrium has been in and out of several hundred companies, corporates and other organisations doing exactly that – and Tim is most proud of Virtrium’s network – the people it has helped and the people it has employed – and the wonderful testimonials and case studies that have been collected along the way. Virtrium have run hundreds of networking events and discovered how truly valuable relationships are, both with clients and associates.
Outside work life revolves around his family, golf, travel, shooting clays, more golf!, and a range of other sporting interests.
